Webinar: "EQIPD - a Quality Management System with Industrial Standards for Preclinical Research"

Many researchers need to perform clinical trials to move their products to the market. For this, it will be essential to have a good quality management system (QMS) in the preclinical phase that will facilitate the interaction with regulatory agencies and industry partners. Our speaker Dr. René Bernard will introduce the 'European Quality In Preclinical Data Quality System' (EQIPD QS) as such a QMS.

The webinar is open to all interested staff and students from SPARK associated organizations.

EQIPD QS - a Quality Management System with industrial standards for preclinical research

Quality Management Systems have transformed industries over the past decades – with one exception: preclinical research. Academic researchers have shied away from such systems due to their fear of stifling their creativity or being overloaded with documentation.

EQIPD QS is a system developed by several industrial, academic and CRO partners over the last 4 years. The system is focused on ensuring preclinical data quality and traceability. It can be applied to all pharmaceutical industry setting and also, ideally, to academic labs seeking collaboration with industry partners.

Dr. René Bernard is the NeuroCure Coordinator for Research Value and Open Science. He has been actively involved in the development of the EQIPD QS, and will introduce its hallmarks and explain why the forementioned fears are unconfounded when using EQIPD QS.
