At BIONNALE 2025, the largest networking event for life sciences and healthcare industries in the German capital region, the Cooperation & Venture Track presented innovative projects in the fields of biotech, medtech, pharma and digital health. In a five-minute pitch, companies and institutions had the opportunity to connect with investors and partners.
Hosted by Tanja Rosenmund (SPARK-BIH) the session featured three SPARK-BIH teams. The team from Dr.-Ing. Szandor Simmons presented their project on Unique Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance (CFTR) Modulator Formulations for Stroke Prevention and Dr. Charles introduced NovInCell – Vascular Stabilization as Treatment for Acute Ischemic Stroke. Both teams impressed with their innovative approaches to pressing medical challenges. In addition, Jasper Mecklenburg presented Dotbase Medical GmbH – a platform for medical workflows – which was a project supported by both, SPARK-NeuroCure and the Digital Health Accelerator (DHA).
Besides to these, a DHA team from PD Dr. med. Christian Meisel pitched their project “Transforming the Epilepsy Diagnostic Pathway Through Accessible & Intelligent Movement Analysis”.
